The High Pressure Conference of Japan will be held in Matsuyama next year

　The 43rd High Pressure Conference of Japan will be held in Matsuyama on 27-29 November, 2002. The coference is held as the annual meeting of the Japan Socieity of High Pressure Science and Technology (http://www.it.sakura.ne.jp/~koatsu/a_en/index.html), and more than 300 participants including nonmembers join it. The conference has become the center of high pressure research in Japan, and has developed as a place where researchers in all the high-pressure areas gather to present and discuss their latest results.
